‘Krisztián’
‘Krisztián’, the little gypsy street urchin is quite fascinating. In the aptly named video, Százhúsz centi tömény erőszak, he is at times, incredibly thoughtful, intelligent, fairly aggressive, sometimes even endearing, and a fair bit sociopathic. He is clearly a survivor.
Incredibly, it turns out he is not an ethnic Hungarian-Gypsy. He, ostensibly, learned Hungarian in a fuckin’ Hungarian orphanage. Fuck me.
Upon first viewing, I had attributed to his (very slight) slip-ups in Hungarian to what I assumed was a Romanian-Hungarian gypsy ‘dialect’ —- but now am amazed how well this fuckin’ kid speaks. Insane.
Too bad this kid doesn’t have a future. From the short video, he would make quite an entertainer. The camera loves him and he loves it right back. And he clearly is no dummy, even if he is burgeoning criminal.
Sad.
Anyone else get some sort of weird/gay vibe between the older skinny kid and ‘Krisztián’?
BTW was he singing in Romanian or one of the gypsy languages? Anyone know?
